| Peace marchers, April 1, 2010 |
On April 1, 2010 we hosted a group of Peace Marchers who were walking from Oak Ridge,
TN to the United Nations in New York. We provided a pot luck dinner and breakfast and the marchers slept in our meeting house.
During the evening they told the gripping story of the proliferation of nuclear power production in the United States and
elsewhere and the dangers the world faces from the continued amassing of radioactive nuclear waste most of which will remain
dangerous fro 100,000 years.
